Job Title: Video Editor (News & Digital Media)

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan (On-site / Full-time)

Company Overview: Thar News & इक़रा पत्रिका is a rapidly growing regional digital media and news publication house based in Jaipur. We specialize in investigative reporting, regional news coverage, and engaging digital video content. We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to join our media production team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who can transform raw news footage, interviews, and field reports into compelling, rapid-paced, and engaging videos for YouTube and various social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual storytelling, news pacing, and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities: Video Editing: Cut, trim, and assemble raw footage, sound bites, and interviews into high-quality news packages and feature stories.

Graphics & Motion Design: Add dynamic text overlays, lower thirds, breaking news tickers, and engaging visual elements.

Audio & Color Correction: Ensure crisp audio mixing, proper background scores,



and color grading consistent with our brand.

Platform Optimization: Format and export videos according to the specific requirements of YouTube, Instagram Reels, and other social channels.

Speed & Accuracy: Edit breaking news or daily reports quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.

Requirements & Skills: Proven experience in video editing (Freshers with exceptional portfolio/editing skills are also welcome to apply).

Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or KineMaster (PC/Mobile workflow understanding).

Strong understanding of YouTube formatting, pacing, thumbnails, and retention techniques.

Basic knowledge of current affairs, news standards, and regional media trends.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced media environment in Jaipur.

Job Type: Full-time / Permanent

Experience: Freshers / 1–2 years of experience (Portfolio is mandatory)

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
