About The Role

Sanskrti is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in both video production and post-production, with the ability to create engaging visual content for digital platforms, advertising campaigns, branding projects, fashion, jewellery, and lifestyle brands.

Role Description The Video Editor role at Sanskrti India is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Video

Editor will work closely with directors, producers, and designers to edit raw footage into polished videos aligned with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and managing media assets, assembling rough cuts, refining story flow, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, and preparing final exports for various platforms. The role also involves collaborating on visual styles, integrating motion graphics, performing basic color adjustments, and ensuring consistency across all video content.





The Video

Editor will participate in review sessions, incorporate feedback promptly, and maintain project timelines while upholding high creative and technical standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including experience handling different video formats and timelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, tone, and mood across projects.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for creating titles, lower thirds, overlays, and other visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic sound editing tools.
- Solid visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, composition, and narrative structure.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating past work is required.
