VIDEO EDITOR

Full-Time | India | Hybrid / Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and be comfortable editing both short-form and long-form video content.

You will work closely with our creative and production teams to transform raw footage into engaging, polished and platform-ready content for social media, digital campaigns, YouTube and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form content including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media videos.
- Edit long-form content including YouTube videos, interviews, branded content, documentaries and promotional films.
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, audio and other media assets.
- Create engaging edits with strong pacing, storytelling, transitions and visual flow.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Clean and balance dialogue, music and sound effects.
- Add titles, subtitles, captions, graphics and basic motion graphics where required.
- Select appropriate music, sound effects and supporting visuals to enhance storytelling.
- Adapt videos into different formats, aspect ratios and specifications for various platforms.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining project quality.
- Maintain organized project files and follow established editing workflows.
- Ensure all final videos meet quality, branding and technical requirements.
- Stay updated with current editing trends, social media formats and content styles.

Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.




- Good understanding of editing principles, pacing and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of colour grading, sound design and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to work with both raw camera footage and mobile/social media footage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good sense of music, rhythm and timing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and ability to take creative feedback.

What We're Looking For

We're not looking for someone who simply knows how to cut clips together.

We're looking for an editor who understands why a shot works, when to cut, how to build emotion, and how to keep an audience watching.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, fast, reliable and genuinely passionate about filmmaking and digital content.

Experience

2–5 years of professional video editing experience preferred.

Candidates with exceptional portfolios and strong practical skills may be considered regardless of formal experience.

Compensation

₹25,000–₹40,000 per month, depending on experience, portfolio and technical skill.
