Our flagship product, Sigma Scanner, helps investors build and backtest rule-based momentum portfolios using a systematic approach.

We are looking for a creative and performance-focused Video Editor who can transform webinars, educational content, founder-led content, and marketing concepts into engaging videos that drive attention, engagement, leads, webinar registrations, and product conversions.

Role Overview

As a Video Editor, you will create short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Meta Ads, webinars, and other digital channels.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Content teams to produce videos that are visually engaging, on-brand, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ads, and other short-form videos.
- Edit long-form content including webinars, YouTube videos, interviews, educational sessions, and product demonstrations.
- Create high-retention videos using strong hooks, pacing, captions, transitions, graphics, and storytelling.
- Identify and create engaging 3–5 second hooks for short-form content.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple Reels, Shorts, and ad creatives.
- Create performance-focused video creatives for Meta Ads and other marketing campaigns.
- Add subtitles,



motion graphics, screen recordings, animations, stock footage, and other visual elements.
- Create multiple creative variations for A/B testing.
- Maintain consistency with Green Sigma's brand identity and visual language.
- Edit finance and investing content while maintaining accuracy, clarity, and context.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to understand the objective behind every video.
- Analyse video performance and improve creatives based on watch time, retention, CTR, engagement, and conversions.
- Stay updated with current Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and performance-video trends.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads video formats.
- Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, transitions, captions, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to create engaging hooks and retention-driven edits.
- Basic understanding of performance marketing and conversion-focused creatives.
- Experience with After Effects, motion graphics, or Canva is an advantage.
- Ability to work with Tamil and English content is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of skilled video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form, long-form, and performance-oriented video editing.
- Candidates with exceptional portfolios may be considered irrespective of formal qualifications.
