Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Kolkata.

The Video

Editor will collaborate closely with the creative and production teams to edit event footage, assemble compelling stories, and deliver polished video content for digital and offline channels. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, creating cuts and sequences, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and preparing final files in required formats. The role also involves color grading, integrating motion graphics and visual assets, and maintaining consistency with brand guidelines and event themes.

Editor will be expected to manage multiple projects, meet production timelines, and contribute creative ideas to elevate the visual impact of Empower Live’s experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling event or live-performance footage.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand presence.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and sound-to-picture synchronization.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Relevant education or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
