Role Description The Video Editor role at Apex Digital is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India. This role involves editing video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.

The Video

Editor will assemble raw footage, apply transitions and effects, perform color correction, and integrate audio elements such as music and voiceovers. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs,



develop visual concepts, and deliver content within deadlines. The role may further involve creating basic motion graphics, adapting content into different formats, managing project files, and maintaining an organized workflow from concept to final export.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in video editing tools and techniques, including Video Editing and Video Production skills.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency, mood, and overall video quality.
- Experience creating Motion Graphics and working with Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve; After Effects for motion graphics).
- Understanding of digital and social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for publishing video content.
- Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and capacity to work under deadlines in a collaborative setting.
- Relevant education in film, multimedia, communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced content environment is beneficial; a portfolio or showreel showcasing recent work is required.
