Role Overview

UPES Online is looking for skilled video editors who can work at scale for online degree and certificate programs. The role requires a strong foundation in video editing, familiarity with AI based content creation tools, and an understanding of how academic content needs to be structured for online learners.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity, technology, and education.

Key Responsibilities

Edit recorded academic lectures, masterclasses, and faculty videos for online programs

Create polished learning videos with clear flow, pacing, and learner friendly structure

Work with AI video tools for avatar-based videos, voiceovers, captions, summaries, and content enhancements

Use Adobe tools to clean audio, improve visuals, add graphics, overlays, intros, outros, and subtitles

Collaborate with instructional designers and academic teams to align videos with course outcomes

Ensure consistency in branding, templates, and quality across programs





Handle bulk editing workflows while maintaining accuracy and quality

Adapt content formats for LMS delivery and marketing usage where required

Required Skills and Tools

Solid hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition

Comfortable working with AI video and content tools such as Synthesia, HeyGen, Descript, or similar platforms

Good understanding of audio cleanup, frame composition, transitions, and visual hierarchy

Ability to work with templates, styles, and standardized formats

Basic understanding of motion graphics is preferred

Attention to detail and ability to follow academic guidelines

Preferred Background

Experience working in edtech, online education, or digital learning environments

Familiarity with faculty led content and long form educational videos

Understanding of LMS based content delivery is an advantage

Ability to work in fast paced, high volume content environments

Experience and Qualifications

2 to 5 years of relevant video editing experience

Formal education in media, design, film, animation, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory A strong portfolio showcasing both creative and structured content is required.
