Maliao is a fast-growing D2C color cosmetics brand with more than 400 products. We sell through our website (maliao.in), leading e-commerce marketplaces, retail and social platforms. Video is how our customers discover our products, and we're looking for a versatile creator who can make them look stunning on screen.

Role Overview

As Video Editor at Maliao, you'll combine three skills: video editing, motion graphics and 3D. You'll edit reels and ads, bring products to life with motion graphics, and create 3D product renders and CGI animations for launches, campaigns, e-commerce and social media.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

- Edit reels, shorts, product videos, tutorials, GRWM, swatch videos and campaign films for social media, website and marketplaces
- Edit performance ad creatives (static-to-video, UGC-style and hook variations) for Meta and Google campaigns
- Handle color grading and correction so product shades and skin tones look true to life
- Add sound design, music, voiceovers, subtitles and on-screen text in line with platform trends
- Repurpose influencer and UGC content into on-brand edits

Motion Graphics

- Create motion graphics for reels, ads, product launches and website banners, including kinetic typography, animated text, transitions and product callouts




- Build animated product explainers showing ingredients, advantages, textures and how-to-use steps
- Design animated logo reveals, intros, outros and branded templates so the team can produce videos faster
- Create animated elements for e-commerce listings, A+ content videos and website sections

3D Product Visualization & Animation

- Model, texture, light and render cosmetic products (lipsticks, compacts, bottles, tubes, pencils, etc.)

- Create realistic 3D product animations and CGI videos, such as product rotations, exploded views,

liquid and texture simulations, and swatch and pour effects
- Produce 3D renders for launches, packaging previews, ads, website banners and marketplace listings
- Build CGI / FOOH-style (fake out-of-home) concepts for high-impact social media campaigns

Collaboration & Workflow

- Work with the Creative Head, graphic designers, DOP and Social Media team from brief to final output
- Contribute ideas for new video formats, trends and visual concepts
- Manage multiple projects at once and deliver on tight timelines
- Keep project files, raw footage, templates and final exports organized and backed up
- Export videos in the right formats,



sizes and aspect ratios for each platform (Instagram, YouTube,

Meta Ads, Amazon, website)

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics and 3D, preferably for beauty,

cosmetics, fashion, FMCG or D2C brands
- A strong showreel / portfolio covering video edits, motion graphics and 3D product renders or animations (mandatory)
- Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Hands-on 3D skills in Blender, Cinema 4D or Maya, with rendering in Redshift, Octane, Cycles or similar
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator for preparing assets
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, typography, color and composition
- Up to date with Instagram and YouTube trends, reel formats and ad creative best practices
- Familiarity with AI video and image tools is a plus
- Organized, open to feedback, and able to deliver high-quality work quickly
