About ComplynzComplynz is building India’s AI-native Data Privacy & CyberGRC platform.

We are helping companies automate DPDP compliance, data discovery, consent management, third-party risk, policy management, privacy workflows and breach readiness — replacing fragmented spreadsheets, consultants and manual processes with an intelligent compliance platform.

Our product is live, enterprise POCs are underway, and we are now building the engineering organization that will take Complynz to the next stage.

The OpportunityWe are looking for a VP Engineering / Head of Engineering who wants to build, not just manage.

You will own technology, architecture, engineering execution, AI, security, infrastructure and the engineering team, working directly with the Founder on product and technology strategy.

This is an opportunity to join early and have outsized ownership and impact on the technology direction of the company.

What You Will OwnEngineering & Architecture

- Own the overall technology architecture and engineering roadmap.
- Build a scalable, secure and enterprise-ready SaaS platform.
- Drive backend, frontend, APIs, databases, integrations and system architecture.
- Establish engineering standards, code quality and development practices.

AI & Automation

- Lead the use of AI, LLMs and agents across the Complynz platform.
- Build intelligent compliance and privacy automation.
- Explore RAG, AI agents, classification and document intelligence.
- Turn AI capabilities into real product outcomes.

Data Discovery & PII

- Lead our data discovery,



classification and PII detection technology.
- Build and scale endpoint-based discovery across Windows, Mac and Linux.
- Improve automated data mapping and sensitive-data detection.

Engineering Team

- Build and mentor the engineering team.
- Hire strong engineers across backend, frontend, AI/ML, DevOps and QA.
- Establish ownership, accountability and a high-performance engineering culture.

Cloud & DevOps

- Own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and deployment architecture.
- Build strong observability, monitoring, testing and release processes.
- Drive application security, reliability and scalability.

Enterprise Product

- Work closely with the Founder, Product and Customer teams.
- Participate in technical discussions with CIOs, CISOs and CTOs.
- Build enterprise integrations and capabilities required by large customers.

What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of strong software engineering experience, including meaningful technical leadership.
- Experience building B2B SaaS / enterprise software products.
- Strong system design and architecture fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong backend development experience.
- Exposure to AI/ML, LLMs or AI-powered products.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD,



security and scalable systems.
- Experience in Cybersecurity, Privacy, GRC or Compliance SaaS is a strong advantage.
- Startup experience is highly preferred.
- Must be comfortable working from our Noida office.
