About the Role

Almighty Animal Sanctuary is looking for a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian to join our team as an In-House Veterinarian.

This is an opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to work closely with animals and contribute meaningfully to their long-term health, recovery, rehabilitation, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide regular veterinary care and medical supervision for animals at the sanctuary.
- Conduct routine health examinations, vaccinations, deworming, and preventive healthcare.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, infections, and other medical conditions.
- Respond to veterinary emergencies and provide timely treatment.
- Monitor the health and recovery of rescued and rehabilitating animals.
- Develop and maintain appropriate treatment and medication plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records for individual animals.
- Oversee medication schedules, wound care, post-operative care, and recovery.
- Advise the sanctuary team on nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, quarantine, and general animal care.
- Identify potential health concerns early and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Coordinate with external veterinary specialists, diagnostic laboratories, or veterinary hospitals when specialised care is required.
- Support the secure intake, assessment,



and rehabilitation of newly rescued animals.
- Help establish and maintain appropriate veterinary protocols and standards of care within the sanctuary.
- Work closely with sanctuary staff and caregivers to ensure animals receive consistent day-to-day care.

What We’re Looking For
- BVSc & AH / recognised veterinary qualification.
- Valid registration to practice veterinary medicine in India.
- Experience in treating animals, particularly rescued, community, or shelter animals, is preferred.
- Most importantly, someone who truly loves animals and is passionate about their care and well-being.
