About BreakAway

BreakAway is a plans-first social app for cities. Instead of scrolling and saving places, people see what's happening nearby and join a plan within minutes. We're early-stage, and you'll be one of the first people on the team.

The role

You'll bring venues onto BreakAway with exclusive group offers, such as "30% off for parties of 6+" or "private area free for a group of 10." You own a set of neighbourhoods, and your goal is to get offers live and redeemed by real groups.

What you'll do

- Walk into cafés with event space, rooftops, breweries, bars, studios and co-working spaces in your assigned neighbourhoods
- Find the person who can actually approve an offer, not just a friendly manager
- Pitch,



agree and verify group offers that are exclusive to BreakAway
- Follow up until a real group redeems the offer
- Log every conversation in our tracker, including what the venue hesitated about
- Send a weekly update on leads, live offers and problems

You're a positive fit if you

- Are comfortable walking into places and talking to owners
- Follow up without being chased
- Can run your own pipeline in a spreadsheet
- Speak English and the local language
- Can travel around the city
- Have sales, hospitality or events experience (a plus, not required)
