Key Responsibilities

- Understand software requirements, functional specifications, and product workflows.
- Design, review, and execute manual test cases based on software requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and validation testing.
- Test embedded software running on microcontroller- and Linux-based systems.
- Verify communication between hardware and software (UART, USB, RS-232/RS-485, I²C, SPI, Ethernet, etc.).
- Validate instrument features such as sensors, motors, heaters, pumps, displays, keypads, alarms, and communication interfaces.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug-tracking tool.
- Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.
- Prepare test reports, test documentation, and release-related documents.
- Collaborate with software developers, hardware engineers, and product teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure software quality before product release.
