Job Title: Vendor Developer

Experience: 3 - 4 years

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management or relevant field

Location: Bhiwandi

Job Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop alternate sourcing options to support the department's cost-reduction target.
- Negotiate rate contracts and standard price lists with vendors.
- Conduct or oversee vendor evaluations and audits on schedule; maintain the Approved Supplier List.
- Identify supply-chain risks and coordinate contingency planning for critical suppliers with the Purchase Head.
- Run structured vendor-development programs to improve quality, capacity and reliability of key suppliers.
- Track supplier performance data (delivery punctuality, quality acceptance, responsiveness) in the ERP system.
- Conduct technical audits of vendors against quality and compliance criteria.
- Keep the Approved Supplier List accurate and current based on audit outcomes.
