What awaits you/ Job Profile

- Develop and integrate Hood & Fender systems for the MINI Revo Program.
- Support component development from concept design through engineering release.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver design solutions.
- Drive vehicle integration, validation, and issue resolution activities.
- Ensure achievement of quality, cost, timing, weight, and functional targets.
- Support design reviews, engineering changes, and release management activities.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of program milestones in line with BMW Group development processes.
- Gain exposure to BMW Group product engineering methodologies and vehicle development processes.

What should you bring along

- 3-6 years of experience in Automotive Body, Closures, or BIW systems.
- Hands-on experience in Hood, Fender, or Closure component development.
- Strong CATIA V5 skills with practical design experience in sheet metal components.
- Good understanding of automotive product development and engineering release processes.
- Knowledge of vehicle packaging, interfaces, and component integration.




- Understanding of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and DFM/DFA principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering.
- Good English communication skills; German language skills are an added advantage.

Must have technical skill

- Hood & Fender design and development experience.
- Sheet metal design, stamping processes, and manufacturability understanding.
- CATIA V5 proficiency.
- Vehicle packaging and component integration know-how.
- Gap & Flush and tolerance management.
- GD&T; application and tolerance analysis.
- DFMEA and Engineering Change Management (ECM).
- DFM/DFA principles.
- Vehicle validation and countermeasure implementation.
- Supplier coordination and technical issue resolution.

Valuable to have Technical skills

- BMW or OEM product development experience.
- Knowledge of PLM/PDM tools and engineering release processes.
- Exposure to complete vehicle integration activities.
- Cost Optimization / Design-to-Cost methodologies.
- CAE or virtual validation exposure.
- Experience supporting prototype builds and vehicle-level issue resolution.
- Knowledge of lightweight materials and associated design concepts.
- Understanding of pedestrian protection requirements for hood development.
- Exposure to supplier development, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
