Azure Data Engineer (Contract) – INDIA – Fully Remote – 6 MonthsWe’re hiring an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support a growing analytics platform and help scale modern data pipelines in a cloud-first setting. This is a hands-on role focused on building reliable data foundations that enable reporting, modelling and business insights.What you’ll do- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure- Ingest and transform data from multiple enterprise systems (including ERP sources)- Implement data processing across Medallion architecture layers (Bronze/Silver/Gold)- Optimize performance, reliability,



and data quality across the platform- Work closely with data modelers and analysts to deliver analytics-ready datasets- Support downstream reporting and dashboarding use casesWhat we’re looking for- Strong experience as a Data Engineer in Azure environments- Hands-on with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse or similar- Solid SQL and data transformation experience- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics workloads- Understanding of data modelling and working with BI teams- Experience working with ERP data (Oracle ERP a plus)- Comfortable in a collaborative, remote teamDetails- Contract: 6 months- Location: Fully remote (INDIA)- Level: Mid-Senior to SeniorThis role suits someone who enjoys building clean, scalable pipelines and enabling the business to trust and use their data.
