Role Description:The Accounting Services Associate – Senior Associate / SME C04 serves as the process expert for accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, compliance with internal controls, issue resolution, stakeholder management, and support for junior team members. The role acts as a bridge between operations teams, supervisors, and business stakeholders.
Job Description:
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a thorough understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable (P2P) processes.
- Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Coordinate with supervisors to address daily operational issues and implement solutions.
- Allocate work volumes within the team, ensuring timely completion of daily targets.
- Prepare and maintain reports required for daily, weekly, and monthly metrics; solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Manage and respond to business and internal stakeholder emails, ensuring clarity and timely resolution.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables within defined timelines.
- Demonstrate client sensitivity,
maintaining commitment to response times and service quality.
- Act as an internal trainer by conducting and facilitating training programs for team members.
- Maintain updated process documentation and desktop procedures.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support supervisors/managers with dashboard preparation and other reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in daily client interaction.
- Willingness to work in night shifts and flexibility to support multiple shifts if required.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle/Oracle Fusion and Oracle reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (mandatory); knowledge of Microsoft Access and advanced Excel (Macros) is an added advantage.
- Educational Qualification: Accounting Graduate/Postgraduate.
