U.S. Trucking Dispatcher – Night Shift

TransWest Logistics Inc. is an India-based transportation support company providing dispatch and operational services under contract with a U.S.-based transportation company.

We are looking for an experienced U.S. Trucking Dispatcher to join our team in Jalandhar, Punjab.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working with the U.S. trucking industry and be comfortable managing daily dispatch operations, communicating with drivers, brokers, and customers, and working according to U.S. business hours.

This is a night-shift position in India.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch trucks and coordinate daily loads
- Communicate with drivers throughout their trips
- Book and manage freight loads
- Communicate with U.S.-based brokers and customers
- Negotiate freight rates when required
- Track pickups, deliveries, and driver progress
- Provide shipment status updates to brokers and customers
- Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments
- Handle delays, breakdowns, detention, layovers, and other operational issues
- Maintain accurate load and dispatch records
- Provide drivers with complete load information and instructions
- Maintain qualified communication with drivers, brokers, customers, warehouses, and other parties




- Assist with daily transportation operations as required

Requirements
- Previous U.S. trucking dispatch experience is required
- Good understanding of U.S. trucking and transportation operations
- Experience working with brokers, drivers, and customers
- Knowledge of load boards and freight booking
- Strong spoken and written English
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Robust computer and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple trucks and loads at the same time
- Ability to work independently and handle transportation issues professionally
- Must be willing to work night shifts according to U.S. business hours

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

- Flatbed
- Container / Drayage
- Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Broker and customer communication
