Preferred candidate profile:

- 3+ years of relevant fund/real estate accounting experience (fund accounting, public accounting, corporate accounting, or financial reporting); prior fund accounting experience with audit exposure strongly preferred.

- Bachelor & or masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/MBA- Finance) required; CPA or equivalent (or progress toward) a plus.

- Exposure to acquisitions/dispositions, joint ventures, and property-level to fund-level rollups.

- Working knowledge of debt accounting across single- and multi-tranche, fixed- and variable-rate structures, including interest rate swaps/hedge accounting concepts.

- Experience with fund accounting systems and close tools .

- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, Power Pivot, complex formulas) and comfort working with large datasets.

- Robust attention to detail and ownership mindset; consistently produces accurate work under close deadlines with minimal supervision.
