We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced US Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support US-based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US accounting practices, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for US clients.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and accounting reports.
- Record and review journal entries, invoices, expenses, and transactions.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US GAAP and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with US clients and internal teams regarding accounting-related queries.
- Support audit and tax-related requirements as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Skills




- 2–5 years of experience in US Accounting / Bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and US GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop; Xero is a plus.
- Good knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with US-based clients is preferred.

Preferred
- Experience with US taxation and payroll accounting.
- CPA/CA/ACCA or relevant accounting qualification is a plus.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
