The Role We’re looking for a

Social Media Associate

who understands the internet, loves good stories, and knows what makes people stop scrolling. You’ll work closely with the content, design, and video teams to bring Humans of Hustle’s stories to life across social platforms. From planning content and writing hooks to spotting trends, managing communities, and tracking performance, you’ll be involved in the

day-to-day engine that makes our social presence grow . This role is ideal for someone who is

creative, plugged into culture, detail-oriented, and excited to learn by doing .

What You’ll Do Support the planning and execution of

social media content

across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Help build and maintain

monthly content calendars

in line with our content pipeline and brand priorities. Write engaging

hooks, captions, copy, CTAs, and social-first content

across formats. Work closely with the content, design, and video teams to turn stories, conversations, and ideas into compelling social content. Research and identify

trends, formats, conversations,



and cultural moments

relevant to our audience. Help adapt content for different platforms while keeping the

voice and identity of Humans of Hustle

consistent. Assist with publishing, scheduling, and ensuring content goes live accurately and on time. Monitor comments, DMs, and conversations and contribute to

community engagement . Track content performance and help prepare

social media reports and insights . Use performance data to understand what’s working and contribute ideas for improving future content. Coordinate with interns and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of content and campaigns. Support

brand collaborations, partnerships, campaigns, and original content initiatives . Stay updated on

social media trends, creator culture, platform updates, and emerging content formats .

What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience

in social media, content, digital marketing, or a related role. A strong understanding of

Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and social media content formats . Excellent writing and communication skills. A natural instinct for

hooks, storytelling, trends, and internet culture . Someone who is curious about





why certain content works and why people share it . Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple content pieces and deadlines. Comfortable working in a

fast-paced, collaborative environment . Willingness to take ownership, experiment, and learn quickly. Familiarity with tools such as

Canva, Notion, Meta Business Suite, and social media analytics tools . Genuine interest in

startups, founders, business, creators, media, and the internet .
