WE'RE HIRING | FASHION DESIGNER – PARV

PARV, a premium menswear brand by Sutra Men's Studio, is looking for a Fashion Designer to join our team in Indore.

n

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of men's fashion, fabrics, styling and garment execution who can work directly with customers and turn their requirements into well-designed, customised outfits.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Design and customise menswear based on the customer's requirements, occasion, body type, fabric and personal style
n
- Create and suggest formalwear designs on the spot during customer consultations
n
- Guide customers on outfit design, fabric, styling, fit, colours and detailing
n
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical garment designs
n
- Develop customised and bespoke formal, wedding, festive and occasion wear
n
- Work closely with the tailoring and production team to ensure designs are executed accurately
n
- Coordinate on fittings, alterations, finishing and final product detailing
n
- Keep up with current Indian and international menswear trends
n
- Contribute new design ideas and product concepts for PARV
n
- Interact directly with customers and support sales by presenting suitable designs, fabrics and styling options
n

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

n

n
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Designing, Apparel Design or a related field
n
- Previous professional experience in fashion designing, preferably in menswear
n
- Strong knowledge of men's fashion, styling, fits,



colours and garment construction
n
- Strong knowledge of premium and luxury fabrics and international fabric houses such as Zegna, Loro Piana and similar brands
n
- Good understanding of fabric suitability for different outfits, occasions and seasons
n
- Practical knowledge of tailoring, stitching, industrial sewing machines, handwork and garment finishing
n
- Understanding of how to take a design from concept to a finished garment
n
- Knowledge of bespoke and customised menswear
n
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills
n
- Fluent spoken English is mandatory
n
- Professional, well-groomed and presentable
n
- Must be based in Indore or willing to work in office
n

SALARY

n

₹3 LPA+ depending on experience

n

Performance-based sales incentives will also be provided.

n

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

n

The ideal candidate should be able to sit with a customer, understand what they want, suggest the right fabric and design, and develop a suitable outfit even when the requirement is highly customised.

n

You should be confident in your design knowledge, comfortable dealing directly with customers and capable of taking a design from idea to final execution.

n

Experience in premium menswear, bespoke clothing, formalwear or luxury fashion will be an advantage.
