We're Hiring: Tutors / Demonstrators | SKS Medical College & Bengal Hospital, Durgapur

SKS Medical College (SKSMC), established under the SKS Educational and Social Trust, is building a new generation of doctors in West Bengal. As we grow our academic departments, we are looking for committed young medical graduates to join our faculty as Tutors.

This role suits MBBS graduates who enjoy teaching, want academic experience that counts toward a faculty career, and would like to be part of shaping a recent medical college from the ground up.

Position: Tutor / Demonstrator

Departments: Anatomy / Physiology / Biochemistry

Location: Durgapur, West Bengal

Employment Type: Full-time

What you'll do

- Conduct practical classes, demonstrations, tutorials, and small-group teaching for MBBS students under the Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) curriculum
- Support faculty with lectures, dissections, lab sessions, and skill-based training as relevant to the department
- Assist in internal assessments, formative evaluations, logbook maintenance, and student mentorship
- Help maintain department museums, labs, teaching aids, and records in line with NMC requirements




- Take part in departmental research, CMEs, and academic activities

Who we're looking for
- MBBS from an NMC-recognised institution, with completed internship
- Permanent registration with the NMC or a State Medical Council
- Genuine interest in teaching and academic medicine
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Bengali or Hindi is an advantage
- Freshers are welcome to apply; prior teaching experience is a plus
