Role Description The Travel Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Puducherry.

The Travel

Consultant will advise clients on travel options, create tailored itineraries, and manage end-to-end travel arrangements, including bookings for transportation, accommodation, and activities.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, responding to inquiries, providing accurate travel information, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for clients. The role involves daily interaction with customers in person, by phone, and via email, maintaining detailed records of bookings, and coordinating with travel partners and service providers.

The Travel

Consultant will also support after-sales service,



address changes or issues in travel plans, and contribute to promoting travel packages and special offers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to understand traveler needs and design suitable itineraries.
- Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations to handle bookings for transportation, accommodation, and related services.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to engage with clients professionally, manage queries, and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain travel options clearly and build trust with diverse clients.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple bookings, schedules, and documentation accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation systems or travel booking platforms; knowledge of MS Office tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work in office full time in Puducherry, including flexibility for peak travel seasons and occasional weekend or holiday work.
- Prior experience in a travel agency or hospitality environment is an advantage; a diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
