Role Description The Transportation and Freight Forwarding - Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in freight forwarding and transportation services, managing a portfolio of clients, and achieving sales targets through consultative selling.

Daily responsibilities include preparing and presenting quotations, negotiating rates and terms, coordinating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments, and maintaining accurate sales reports and forecasts.

The Sales

Manager will build strong relationships with exporters, importers, and trade partners,



monitor market trends and competitor activities, and provide feedback to internal teams to enhance service offerings. Regular in-person meetings, follow-ups, and networking activities are expected to drive growth in both domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding, with a solid understanding of international logistics processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Transportation, including modes, routing, and cost optimization.
- Candidates should possess skills in Export operations, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding.
- Robust negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple accounts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced certifications in logistics or freight forwarding are an advantage.
