Role Summary

Support the design team in conceptualising and developing innovative, trend-relevant textile and surface designs for the

n

Household portfolio. Assist in translating seasonal trends and design direction into commercially relevant products, ensuring

n

alignment with the brand image, customer preferences, quality standards and product requirements.

n

The role will support the end-to-end design & development process across categories such as Bed Linen, Bath Linen,

n

Cushions, Curtains, Rugs, Throws and other Soft Furnishing products, while ensuring alignment with customer needs,

n

market trends, seasonal direction and business objectives.

n

Design Development & Execution

n

- Support development of textile prints, patterns, colourways and surface designs.
n
- Translate trend direction and design briefs into commercially relevant designs.
n
- Develop artworks and patterns as per product and production requirements.
n
- Assist in developing products from concept stage through sampling and production.
n
- Prepare design specifications and handovers for sampling and production.
n
- Trend & Market Research
n
- Research global and domestic trends in home textiles and related product categories.
n
- Analyse competitor and market offerings.
n
- Identify current ideas, colours, patterns,



materials and design opportunities relevant to the brand.
n
- Product Development & Sampling
n
- Work with vendors and internal teams during the sampling and development process.
n
- Review samples for design accuracy, colour, print quality and overall execution.
n
- Incorporate feedback and make necessary design modifications.
n
- Product Presentation
n
- Support preparation of design presentations, mood boards and collection stories.
n
- Assist in product presentation in regard to design, packaging and positioning.
n
- Ensure the visual design direction is clearly communicated to internal stakeholders and vendors.
n
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
n
- Work closely with Design, Buying, Sourcing, Quality and Merchandising teams.
n
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely execution of design and sampling requirements.
n
- Support adherence to seasonal and product development calendars.
n
