Job Overview

We are looking for a Trainee Operations Executive to join our maritime operations team at our Khar office.

This is an entry-level opportunity for a motivated candidate who is looking to build a long-term career in shipping and maritime operations. The selected candidate will receive on-the-job training and work closely with experienced team members to develop practical knowledge of vessel operations, documentation, scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day shipping activities.

The role is designed to provide additional operational coverage and backup support to the existing team, with responsibilities increasing as the candidate develops their knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Operations team with day-to-day vessel and shipping operations.
- Support vessel scheduling, voyage coordination, and operational follow-ups.
- Assist in coordinating with vessel owners, charterers, agents, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain and update operational records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with preparing and checking shipping and voyage-related documents.
- Monitor operational activities and follow up on pending requirements.
- Support cargo, port, vessel, and voyage-related coordination as required.
- Maintain clear and accurate operational communication and records.
- Provide administrative and operational support to senior team members.
- Develop an understanding of maritime operations, shipping processes, and industry practices.
- Gradually take ownership of assigned operational activities.

Candidate Eligibility
- Must have completed or be pursuing a relevant Marine/Maritime course from a recognized maritime institute.
- Candidates from NMIMS or other recognized maritime institutes are encouraged to apply.




- Relevant courses may include Maritime Studies, Shipping & Logistics, Marine Operations, Nautical Science, or other related maritime programs.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with relevant academic projects, training, or internship exposure in the maritime/shipping industry will be preferred.

- Strong command of English is essential, both written and verbal.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up ability.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

- Ability to work in a quick-paced operational environment.

Training & Development The selected candidate will receive on-the-job training and guidance from experienced maritime professionals. The candidate will gain practical exposure to:
