Role Description This is a full-time, in office Toolmaker role based at the Machino Plastics facility in Becharaji. The Toolmaker will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and maintaining injection moulding tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Day-to-day tasks include performing precision machining, fitting and finishing tool components, and conducting tool trials to ensure optimal performance in production. The role also involves diagnosing tool-related issues, executing corrective actions, and collaborating with engineering, maintenance,



and production teams to improve tool life, cycle time, and component quality. The Toolmaker will maintain proper documentation, follow safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives in tooling and mould development.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in toolmaking, including experience with injection mould tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in machining operations such as milling, turning, grinding, drilling, and CNC machine operation and programming.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T;, and using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges).
- Candidates should possess skills in tool maintenance, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for tooling issues in injection moulding environments.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of injection moulding processes, mould design basics, materials, heat treatment, and finishing techniques.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Relevant technical qualification such as a diploma or ITI in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, or equivalent; experience in automotive plastics or injection moulding is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing team setting.
