Role Description The Tool Room Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik, responsible for overseeing daily operations in the tool room. This role includes planning and assigning work to tool room staff, ensuring timely manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. The supervisor monitors machining activities, reviews tooling designs, and coordinates troubleshooting of tooling issues that impact production quality or efficiency.

Daily tasks involve inspecting tools for wear and accuracy, maintaining inventory of tooling and spare parts, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also includes collaborating with production,



maintenance, and engineering teams to support new tooling requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, work allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in Tooling Design and Fixtures to support development, modification, and optimization of production tools.
- Candidates should possess Machining skills, with hands-on experience in operating conventional and/or CNC machines for tool making.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve tooling and dimensional issues affecting production.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing workplace, ideally in tool room or tooling supervision, is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety practices, quality standards, and basic industrial maintenance processes is advantageous.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
