We are seeking a Test Automation Architect (8–12+ yrs) to define, design and govern enterprise-scale automation solutions. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with technical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end test automation architecture across web and desktop applications
- Design scalable, reusable frameworks using Java, Playwright and Python
- Define automation standards, coding guidelines and governance models
- Automate React JS applications, handling dynamic UI and async behavior
- Build reusable components and libraries; enable parallel/distributed execution
- Apply Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted tools for test design, test data generation, defect analysis and automation productivity
- Integrate frameworks with CI/CD (Jenkins / Azure DevOps); track metrics, stability and ROI
- Act as automation SME; communicate strategy, progress and risks to senior leadership
- Support estimation, planning and proposals for automation initiatives
- Mentor engineers,



conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards

Must-Have Skills
- Java (Core & Advanced) with strong OOP and framework design
- Python for automation frameworks and scripting
- Playwright – hands-on framework building (mandatory)
- Prompt Engineering for testing and quality use cases
- Custom/hybrid test automation framework design
- React JS automation, Helenium
- CI/CD integration (Jenkins / Azure DevOps or similar)
- Test strategy, planning and automation estimation
- Robust stakeholder communication and presentation skills
