Role

1. You hold a B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

2. You have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation using Python or Advanced Python.

3. Experience in Web Application and REST API testing is required.

4. You have a solid understanding of Software Development and Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC).

5. Familiarity with software testing concepts such as unit, integration, functional, and regression testing.

6. You are familiar with working in Agile and DevOps environments.

7. Exposure to tools such as Jenkins, GIT/BitBucket, Docker, JIRA, and Confluence is expected.

8. Experience or comfort working with Linux systems and open-source technologies.

9. Strong enthusiasm for Software Quality Assurance and automation best practices.

Mandatory Skills

- 4–6 years of experience in Python scripting and automation frameworks (Selenium, Behave, PyTest, or Playwright).
- Proven experience in web application automation.




- Working knowledge of GIT and version control processes.
- Experience with test case design and execution for various types of testing (functional, regression)

Good to Have Skills

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint-based development cycles.
- Experience with test framework design/development.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for task and documentation tracking.
- Understanding of BDD principles and ability to write/translate Gherkin feature files into automated test scripts.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain test documentation as part of the QA delivery.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.
- Willingness to take ownership of test deliverables and ensure high quality from the outset.
- A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
