About the Role

Gujarat Accelerate is looking for a proactive and organized intern to design and run a simple, consistent engagement mechanism for its portfolio companies. The intern will be the primary driver of community-building activities that help portfolio companies connect with peers, access relevant experts and resources, and identify business opportunities within the network. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role suited to someone who enjoys community management, event coordination, and building lightweight systems/processes from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

1. WhatsApp Community Management

n

n
- Actively manage the Gujarat Accelerate Portfolio WhatsApp community
n
- Create and maintain an engagement calendar
n
- Drive regular interactions, peer-to-peer connects, resource sharing, and relevant opportunity postings
n

2. Masterclasses

n

n
- Identify relevant topics based on portfolio growth needs and emerging trends
n
- Build and maintain a masterclass calendar
n
- Identify and coordinate with speakers/subject-matter experts
n
- Create a simple, reusable session format and communication SOP
n

n

3. Portfolio Mixers / Coffee Meetups

n

n
- Organize city-wise meetups to bring portfolio companies together
n
- Track meetup cadence and participation data
n
- Continuously improve the format based on feedback and turnout
n

n

4. Job Fair / Talent Connect

n

n




- Capture hiring requirements from portfolio companies
n
- Support coordination of job fairs and talent-connect initiatives
n
- Track hiring needs and outcomes
n

n

5. Buyer–Seller Connect

n

n
- Create and maintain a simple directory of products/services bought and sold within the portfolio
n
- Identify potential buyer-seller matches
n

n

• Establish a process for facilitating and tracking these connections

n

Skills & Attributes Required

n

n
- Robust organizational and coordination skills; comfortable managing multiple ongoing activities
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills
n
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, spreadsheets, and basic tracking/reporting tools
n
- Self-starter with the ability to build simple processes and SOPs from scratch
n
- Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or the Gujarat business ecosystem is a plus
n
- Willingness to travel within Gujarat for meetups/events as needed
n

Eligibility

n

n
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a graduate/postgraduate degree (management, business, or related field preferred)
n
- Prior experience in community management, event coordination, or startup ecosystem support is a plus but not mandatory
n

Duration & Engagement Duration:

6 months (September 2026 – February 2027)
