We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of backend development, architecture, scalability and production systems.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Architect, build and deploy backend features and services.
n
- Design database schemas and handle complex migrations.
n
- Build and scale APIs with a focus on performance and reliability.
n
- Work on system design, scalability, monitoring, logging and production issues.
n
- Maintain strong engineering standards through code reviews and automated testing.
n
- Identify and reduce technical debt.
n
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment improvements.
n
- Explore AI-assisted engineering workflows and automation.
n
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical decisions.
n
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend and other stakeholders.
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- 3–6 years of backend engineering experience.
n
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Django,
Express or similar MVC frameworks.
n
- Strong SQL, relational database, ORM and schema design experience.
n
- Good understanding of system design, scalability, performance and reliability.
n
- Experience building and scaling APIs and production systems.
n
- Strong automated testing and code review practices.
n
- Experience owning technical deliveries or leading engineering initiatives.
n
- Strong problem-solving, ownership and communication skills.
n
- B2B SaaS / product-company experience preferred.
n
