Schedule: Day Shift (Monday to Saturday)
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
(Freshers may start from ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 with training provided)
About the Role
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Robotics, AI & STEM Trainers / STEM Teachers to deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences for school students from Grades 1 to 10.
The role involves teaching and facilitating practical learning across Robotics, Electronics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Python, AI-assisted/vibe coding, 3D Printing, and emerging technologies.
The trainer will travel to different partner schools across Bangalore to conduct STEM sessions, implement curriculum, guide student projects, and create an engaging setting where students can learn by building and experimenting.
Key Responsibilities
1. STEM Curriculum Development & Delivery
- Design and deliver structured STEM lessons covering Robotics, Electronics, Coding, AI, and emerging technologies.
- Customize teaching methods according to different age groups and skill levels.
- Conduct practical and activity-based sessions that encourage students to learn through experimentation.
- Integrate multiple technologies into project-based learning activities.
1. Robotics & Electronics
- Conduct hands-on training using robotics kits, Arduino, sensors, motors, and basic electronic components.
- Teach students fundamental concepts of circuits, sensors, automation, and robotics.
- Guide students in building and programming simple robotic systems.
- Assist students in troubleshooting hardware, wiring, and robotics-kit issues.
1. Coding & Python
- Teach beginner-friendly programming concepts using block-based coding and Python.
- Introduce students to programming fundamentals such as variables, conditions, loops, functions, and basic logic.
- Help students develop small applications, games, automation projects, and robotics programs.
- Introduce age-appropriate computational thinking and problem-solving concepts.
1. Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI
- Introduce students to the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in a simple and age-appropriate manner.
- Explain concepts such as AI, data, models, computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI at a basic level.
- Conduct beginner-friendly AI activities and projects.
- Introduce students to responsible and ethical use of AI.
- Demonstrate how AI tools can be used for learning, creativity, research,
and problem-solving.
1. AI-Assisted / Vibe Coding
- Introduce students to AI-assisted coding and beginner-level “vibe coding” concepts.
- Teach students how to describe an idea clearly and use AI coding assistants to help create simple applications and prototypes.
- Help students understand, test, modify, and debug AI-generated code rather than simply copying it.
- Encourage students to combine creativity, problem-solving, and programming to build small functional projects.
1. 3D Printing & Digital Fabrication
- Introduce students to the basics of 3D printing and digital fabrication.
- Explain the basic workflow from idea → 3D design → slicing → printing.
- Guide students through simple 3D design/CAD activities.
- Demonstrate basic 3D-printer operation, material handling, and print troubleshooting.
- Help students create simple physical prototypes and STEM models.
1. Project-Based Learning
- Guide students through practical projects combining robotics, coding, AI, electronics, and 3D printing.
- Encourage students to identify real-world problems and develop technology-based solutions.
- Support students in building prototypes and demonstrating their projects.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, teamwork, and innovation.
1. Classroom Instruction & Student Engagement
- Conduct interactive and engaging sessions for students from Grades 1–10.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and experimentation.
- Explain technical concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
- Manage classrooms effectively while maintaining a hands-on learning environment.
1. Student Assessment & Feedback
- Monitor student progress and maintain performance records.
- Evaluate student understanding through activities, projects, and practical assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Identify students who require additional guidance and support.
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Assist students in troubleshooting robotics kits, electronics, programming, AI tools, and 3D-printing activities.
- Diagnose basic hardware and software issues during classroom sessions.
- Ensure STEM equipment and kits are properly maintained and ready for use.
1. Mentorship
- Inspire students to explore Robotics, AI, Coding, Electronics, and other STEM fields.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning.
- Help students develop confidence in building and experimenting with technology.
1. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with school teachers, administrators, and internal academic teams.
- Coordinate schedules and ensure smooth execution of STEM sessions across multiple schools.
- Maintain effective communication with school staff regarding student activities and requirements.
1. Professional Development
- Stay updated with developments in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Python, coding, 3D printing, and STEM education.
- Continuously explore new educational technologies, AI tools, project ideas, and teaching methodologies.
- Participate in internal training and upskilling programs.
Qualifications Education: Diploma / BSc / BE / B.Ed / M.Sc / M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Candidates from other technical or STEM backgrounds with relevant practical skills may also be considered.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome; structured training will be provided.
- 1–2 years of experience in Robotics, STEM education, coding, AI education, or related areas is preferred.
- Experience working with school students or conducting workshops is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Robotics and Electronics.
- Basic programming knowledge in Arduino, Python, or Block-based Coding.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI concepts.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding / vibe coding is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of 3D printing and digital fabrication is an advantage.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Passion for STEM education, technology, and teaching.
- Willingness to travel to partner schools across Bangalore.
