Role Description: SCS Steam & Control Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to develop and manage industrial customers and promote our engineering products and process solutions. The role involves a combination of technical understanding, customer interaction, business development, site visits, and sales coordination.

Job Location: Kolkata / Ranchi

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and develop recent customers and business opportunities in the assigned territory.

· Visit industrial plants and meet customers to understand their technical requirements and process need.

· Promote and sell industrial products, equipment, and engineering solutions offered by the company.

· Prepare and submit technical quotations, commercial proposals, and techno-commercial offers.





· Understand customer specifications, drawings, process requirements, and equipment applications.

· Coordinate with the design, service, project, and execution teams to provide suitable technical solutions.

· Follow up with customers from enquiry through quotation, negotiation, order finalization, and execution.

· Maintain regular communication with existing customers and develop long-term business relationships.

· Conduct market research to identify potential industries, customers, projects, and business opportunities.

· Achieve assigned sales and business-development targets.

· Maintain records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and sales activities.

· Travel to customer sites and industrial locations as required.

Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment sales, boiler/thermic fluid heater sales, steam systems, or similar engineering industries will be preferred.

- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and good communication skills may also be considered.
