Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale software development and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across modern application architectures, Agile delivery practices, and end-to-end software development lifecycle management.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, development teams, QA, and DevOps professionals to successfully deliver technically complex projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of software engineering principles, project governance, risk management, and enterprise application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of technically complex software development projects.
- Translate business requirements into actionable features, user stories, technical specifications, and delivery plans.
- Manage project scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with architects, technical leads, developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.




- Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, release schedules, and delivery status reporting.
- Ensure alignment between requirements, architecture, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Facilitate technical design and architecture reviews in collaboration with Technical Leads.
- Drive requirements traceability and project documentation throughout the SDLC.
- Support adoption of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and Git-based development practices.
- Track technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, and architectural decisions.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, production readiness activities, releases, and post-release support.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, security practices, quality benchmarks, and delivery processes.
- Facilitate resolution of cross-functional technical and delivery challenges.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of overall IT/software engineering experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or Technical Delivery Management.
- Strong understanding of:
- Java
- Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- React.js
- TypeScript
- SQL
- Microservices Architecture
- Good understanding of software architecture principles and distributed systems.




- Experience with API-first and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and modern software development practices.
- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and DevOps practices.
- Strong technical documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to review architecture and technical designs and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing enterprise application development projects involving multiple technical teams.
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing projects throughout the complete SDLC, from requirements gathering to production deployment.
- Experience working with enterprise customers and senior business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience leading architecture-driven transformation or modernization programs.
- Knowledge of Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and GitHub Spec Kit.
- Experience with cloud-native application delivery and DevSecOps practices.
- Exposure to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination capabilities.
- Project Management certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
