About the Role

Ekam Early Learning Centre, Kompally is looking for a Head of Curriculum to lead the academic program of the Centre. You will work with the Director to shape an age-appropriate, child-centered curriculum and make sure it is delivered consistently and well in every class.

Key Responsibilities

n

Curriculum & Academic Leadership

n

n
- Design and organize an age-appropriate curriculum that fits the children's needs, interests, and developmental stage, in conjunction with the Director.
n
- Monitor planning, assessment, and delivery of the curriculum across all classes.
n
- Oversee curriculum documentation and the implementation of the program.
n
- Develop and maintain Centre policies in line with Ekam's philosophy and ethos.
n

Teaching Standards & Child Wellbeing

n

n
- Ensure children's physical, social, emotional, and behavioral needs are met through consistent routines and staff practices.
n
- Define and apply standards of behavior across the Centre.
n
- Ensure the Centre meets international standards of education and welfare.
n

Staff Leadership & Development

n

n
- Guide, supervise, and train teaching staff, including on child protection, safety, and emergency procedures.
n




- Supervise staff appraisals and take part in Centre-wide performance reviews.
n
- Provide hands-on leadership that keeps morale and enthusiasm high.
n

n

Parent Communication

n

n
- Update parents regularly on the curriculum and their child's progress.
n
- Respond to academic concerns promptly.
n

n

Safety & Child Protection

n

n
- Uphold child safety, health, and hygiene protocols always.
n
- Implement the child protection policy and act promptly on any concerns.
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- 5+ years of experience in Education
n
- 5+ years of Education Administration Programs experience
n
- Knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and the Reggio Emilia philosophy
n
- Solid leadership, coordination, and communication skills
n
- Well versed in school procedures and policy implementation
n
- Proficient in Google Docs/Sheets or Microsoft Word/Excel
n
- A calm, hands-on presence who puts child safety and wellbeing first.
n
- Must be based in or around Kompally. Profiles from outside Hyderabad will not be considered.
