Role: Auth0 / Customer Identity Specialist

Location: Hyderabad/Kochi | Experience: 6-10 Years

Role Summary:

n

Hands-on IAM specialist responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Auth0 solutions on the Customer Identity (CIAM) side within a banking/financial services setting, including real-time troubleshooting of customer authentication issues.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Implement and configure Auth0 Customer Identity modules (Universal Login, connections, MFA, Actions/extensibility, attack protection, logging)

n

Design and support OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect flows for customer-facing applications

n

Debug customer identity issues in real time, with intimate knowledge of JSON Web Tokens (JWT) — claims, signatures, expiry, audience/issuer validation, access/refresh token behavior

n





Apply and support FAPI 2.0 (Financial-grade API) aligned authentication and authorization patterns

n

Integrate Auth0 with APIs, applications, and identity federation/SSO where required

n

Contribute to identity runbooks, playbooks, and process documentation

n

Support audit and compliance evidence gathering related to customer authentication and access

n

Escalate and coordinate on critical customer-identity events with senior leadership

n

Required Experience:

n

6+ years in IAM / identity security, with 3–5+ years of hands-on Auth0 (Customer Identity) implementation and support experience

n

Proven experience debugging production customer auth/token issues under time pressure

n

BFSI client-facing implementation experience preferred

n

Core Technical Expertise:

n

Auth0 (Customer Identity / CIAM)

n

JSON Web Tokens (JWT), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect

n

FAPI 2.0 standard familiarity

n

MFA, PKCE, token/session lifecycle, secure client patterns

n

Identity federation and SSO as applied to CIAM

n

API security fundamentals related to customer authentication

n

Mandatory Certifications

n

Auth0 / Okta-related identity certifications (as applicable); cloud identity adjacency (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD B2C) a plus
