Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Consultation & Product Curation

n

n
- Participate in client meetings to understand lifestyle requirements, design aspirations and functional needs.
n
- Interpret architectural drawings, floor plans and furniture layouts.
n
- Develop mood boards, furniture concepts and curated material palettes.
n
- Recommend furniture, lighting and décor solutions aligned with client requirements.
n
- Work closely with the founders and design team to create exceptional luxury interiors.
n
- Stay updated on international design trends and emerging luxury brands.
n

n

Global Product Sourcing

n

n
- Identify and source premium furniture, lighting, kitchens, wardrobes and décor from international manufacturers.
n
- Build long-term relationships with suppliers across China, Italy and other global markets.
n
- Evaluate new product collections, materials, finishes and innovations.
n
- Negotiate pricing, specifications, production timelines and commercial terms.
n




- Conduct supplier evaluations and factory visits.
n

n

Vendor Development

n

n
- Build strategic partnerships with international manufacturers.
n
- Coordinate quotations, product specifications and production schedules.
n
- Maintain supplier databases and sourcing documentation.
n
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout procurement.
n

n

Project Coordination

n

n
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners and the internal design team.
n
- Support procurement planning and project execution.
n
- Resolve sourcing-related challenges during project delivery.
n

n

International Travel

n

The role requires frequent international travel (approximately 10–12 days every month) primarily to China and Italy for:

- Factory visits

- Design fairs

- Product discovery

- Quality inspections

- Market research

Experience

n

- 4–6 years of professional experience.
n
- Experience in interior design is preferred.
n
- Previous experience in sourcing, procurement, buying, merchandising or vendor development will be highly preferred.

- Experience in furniture, interiors, luxury retail or home décor will be an advantage.
n

n

Essential SkillsDesign & Technical Skills

n

n
- Strong understanding of residential interior design principles.
n
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, floor plans and furniture layouts.
n
- Experience developing design concepts, mood boards and material palettes.
n
- Good understanding of furniture, lighting, kitchens,



wardrobes and luxury interior finishes.
n
- Strong product curation and aesthetic judgement.
n
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
n
- Experience with Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max, Photoshop or similar visualization software will be an added advantage.
n

Sourcing & Commercial Skills

n

- Experience in sourcing, procurement, buying, merchandising or vendor development.
n
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
n
- Ability to evaluate products based on quality, craftsmanship and commercial viability.
n
- Strong commercial awareness with attention to detail.
n
- Passion for discovering new products, materials and global design trends.

Client Consulting Skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to conduct consultative discussions with homeowners, architects and designers.
