Job purpose

The IGA Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering an enterprise Identity Governance & Administration programme centred on SailPoint. The role will coordinate business, security, technology and third-party teams to implement reliable identity lifecycle controls, integrate authoritative and target systems, and transition the resulting capabilities into effective business-as-usual operation.

The postholder will manage the full project lifecycle, including mobilisation, scope, schedule, budget, resources, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, quality, testing, cutover, adoption and benefits realisation.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Own and maintain the project charter, integrated delivery plan, milestones, budget, resource plan, governance calendar and executive reporting.
n
- Lead delivery of the SailPoint implementation, including source onboarding, connectors, workflows, roles, policies, access requests, certifications, reporting, testing, cutover and stabilisation.
n
- Coordinate the design and implementation of joiner, mover and leaver processes, ensuring timely provisioning, access changes and deprovisioning.
n
- Manage integrations with HR systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, cloud services, service-management platforms and enterprise applications.
n
- Coordinate SAP-related integration activity, including SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP S/4HANA where relevant to the identity landscape.
n
- Manage scope, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions and change requests, escalating promptly when delivery outcomes are threatened.
n
- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed architecture, cyber security, privacy, audit, control and non-functional requirements.
n
- Oversee data readiness, identity correlation, role modelling, application onboarding, reconciliation and remediation activities.
n
- Own the overall test and acceptance approach across system, integration, security,



performance and user-acceptance testing.
n
- Lead cutover planning, communications, training, operational readiness, service acceptance, hyper-care and transition to business-as-usual support.
n
- Manage vendors, systems integrators and professional-services partners against agreed deliverables, acceptance criteria, commercial commitments and quality standards.

Person Specific

n

Essential experience

n

n
- Proven project-management experience delivering at least one substantial SailPoint implementation, upgrade or transformation. Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is strongly preferred.
n
- Strong practical experience of identity lifecycle management, including joiners, movers, leavers, access requests, approvals, provisioning, deprovisioning, birth-right access and access certification.
n
- Experience leading a project through mobilisation, discovery, design, build, integration, testing, cutover, hyper-care and transition to operations.
n
- Experience delivering integrations across HR platforms, directories, cloud/SaaS services and enterprise applications using connectors, APIs or managed file feeds.
n
- Experience managing complex schedules, budgets, resources, suppliers, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, scope and quality in a large enterprise environment.
n
- Experience working with cyber security, enterprise architecture, privacy, internal control, audit, service management and business-process stakeholders.
n
- Working knowledge of IAM controls, least privilege, role-based access, segregation of duties, access reviews and audit evidence.
n




- Excellent written and verbal communication, executive reporting, facilitation, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

Desirable experience

n

- Experience integrating SailPoint with SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP S/4HANA, including identity attributes, worker events, business roles, provisioning boundaries and reconciliation.
n
- Knowledge of SAP identity, access and governance concepts, including coordination with SAP security teams and segregation-of-duties considerations.
n
- Experience delivering global or multi-region programmes involving multiple worker types, legal entities and regional data or operating requirements.
n
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, PAM solutions, cloud platforms and enterprise application-onboarding patterns.
n
- Experience with identity data remediation, identity correlation, role mining, application rationalisation and phased onboarding at scale.
n
- Experience managing software vendors, professional-services partners and outcome-based statements of work.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- A recognised project or programme management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or MSP, or equivalent practical delivery experience.
n
- Agile delivery qualification or demonstrable experience applying Agile or hybrid delivery approaches.
n
- SailPoint accreditation and/or a recognised IAM or cyber security certification is advantageous.
