Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

- Own end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of IT projects and programs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Break programs into workstreams, tasks, dependencies, owners, and timelines.
- Monitor progress against commitments and ensure timely delivery.
- Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and potential schedule slippages proactively.
- Drive corrective actions and escalate critical issues when required.

Team Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate with developers, architects, technical teams, functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct project meetings and ensure clear action items, ownership, and deadlines.
- Follow up rigorously on pending tasks and commitments.
- Ensure every action has a clear owner and target completion date.
- Drive accountability and closure across project teams.
- Manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously.

Project Tracking & Reporting

- Maintain project plans, dashboards, task trackers, RAID logs, and milestone reports.
- Track planned versus actual progress and highlight variances.
- Prepare concise and accurate weekly/monthly project status reports.
- Maintain dependency, risk, issue, and escalation registers.
- Provide management with clear visibility of project health and delivery status.

Agile & Delivery Management

- Work effectively across Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog management, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
- Ensure project tasks and deliverables are properly tracked through Jira or equivalent project/work-management tools.
- Experience with Mandate or a similar project/task management platform will be an advantage.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with US-based clients, stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with technical and business stakeholders.
- Translate technical discussions into clear actions,



responsibilities and timelines.
- Manage expectations and communicate risks and delays proactively.
- Coordinate effectively across India and US teams.

Required Experience & Skills

- 8-12 years of relevant IT project/program management experience, preferably around 10 years.
- Proven experience managing software development, IT implementation or technology projects.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, dependencies and delivery management.
- Experience managing distributed/global teams.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or equivalent project management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent follow-up and task-management discipline.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
- Ability to understand technical discussions and work effectively with technical teams.
- Robust ownership and accountability for project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP Certification Preferred
- PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
- Experience working with US clients or US-based delivery teams.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent IT projects/programs.
- Exposure to cloud, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, software products or other technology projects.
- Experience with Mandate or similar project/task management platforms.
