About the Role

n

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected legal professional to take ownership of Manupatra Academy and help expand its reach, engagement, and offerings within the legal education ecosystem.

n

The role involves end-to-end coordination of webinars and learning initiatives, engagement with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), freelancers and external partners, market research, competitor mapping, and identifying new opportunities to grow Manupatra Academy.

n

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, an understanding of the legal ecosystem, and the ability to independently drive initiatives from idea to execution.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage the day-to-day operations and initiatives of Manupatra Academy.
n
- Plan and coordinate webinars, workshops, training sessions, certification programs and other learning initiatives.
n
- Identify, approach and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, lawyers, academicians, industry professionals and other speakers for webinars and programs.
n
- Manage relationships and coordination with freelancers, trainers, content contributors and external partners.
n
- Coordinate end-to-end execution of sessions including speaker coordination, scheduling, communication, content requirements and post-event follow-ups.
n
- Build and maintain a network of legal professionals, academicians, law firms, institutions and industry experts.
n
- Conduct market research to understand trends in legal education, qualified training and upskilling.
n




- Regularly map competitors, their offerings, programs, pricing, partnerships and engagement strategies.
n
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the market and suggest new courses, webinars, formats, partnerships and initiatives for Manupatra Academy.
n
- Explore cutting-edge ideas to increase Academy participation, reach and engagement among law students, lawyers and legal professionals.
n
- Track and analyse participation, engagement and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
n
- Work closely with internal Content, Marketing, Product and Business Development teams for execution of Academy initiatives.
n
- Maintain databases of speakers, SMEs, trainers, institutions, freelancers and potential partners.
n
- Support outreach to law colleges, universities, law firms, corporates and legal professionals for Academy initiatives.
n
- Take ownership of projects and ensure timely execution with minimal supervision.
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B. from a reputed law college/university.
n
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in legal education, legal content, partnerships, events, community building, business development, training or a similar role. Candidates with more experience are also welcome.
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Confident in interacting with senior lawyers, academicians, industry professionals and external stakeholders.
n
- Strong coordination and relationship-management skills.
n
- Good understanding of the legal education and professional legal ecosystem.
n
- Ability to conduct research, understand market trends and translate insights into actionable ideas.
n
- Proactive, organised and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of initiatives.
n
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
n
- Good working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
