Role overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Architect to own the technology architecture for a large-scale digital platform programme with our client. The role combines solution design, AI/ML architecture, and technical governance across engineering and client stakeholder teams.

Key responsibilities

- Own end-to-end solution architecture — application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers — for platform builds and modernisation programmes.
- Design and guide implementation of AI/ML capabilities: LLM-based solutions, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, model integration, prompt and evaluation frameworks.
- Define architecture standards, reference patterns, and non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance, cost).
- Lead technical discovery with client stakeholders; translate business problems into architecture blueprints, effort estimates, and delivery roadmaps.
- Evaluate and select platforms, frameworks, and third-party tools; own build-vs-buy recommendations.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams through design reviews, code governance, and mentoring.
- Own data architecture and governance in coordination with security and compliance teams.
- Act as the senior technical authority in client-facing forums, including steering committee and CXO-level discussions.





Must-have skills

- 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3–4 years in an architect capacity.
- Proven architecture ownership on at least two large enterprise or platform-scale programmes.
- Strong depth in cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP), microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Practical, production-level experience with AI/ML and GenAI stacks — model integration, vector databases, orchestration frameworks (LangChain/LlamaIndex or equivalent), MLOps.
- Solid grounding in data engineering: pipelines, warehousing, real-time and batch processing.
- Security, identity, and compliance-aware design (data privacy, access control, audit).
- Excellent client-facing communication; able to defend architecture decisions to both technical and business audiences.

Valuable to have

- Prior experience in a consulting, Big 4, or systems integrator environment.
- Cloud architect certification (AWS SA Pro, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Architect).
- Exposure to education technology, learning platforms, or large content-delivery systems.
