Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Team Lead MEP BIM to lead BIM modeling, coordination, and delivery activities while ensuring high-quality, coordinated project outcomes. The role will be responsible for managing MEP BIM workflows, guiding BIM engineers/modelers, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and supporting the successful delivery of BIM-enabled projects through effective collaboration and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage MEP BIM modeling and coordination activities using Autodesk Revit.
- Review, develop, and manage high-quality MEP BIM models in accordance with project requirements and BIM Execution Plans.
- Perform and oversee model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks Manage.
- Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings and drive timely resolution of design and construction conflicts.
- Coordinate with MEP designers, architects, structural engineers, general contractors, and site/project teams to ensure constructible and coordinated solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, supervision, and mentoring to MEP BIM Engineers and Modelers.
- Plan and allocate BIM deliverables across the team based on project priorities, deadlines, and resource requirements.
- Review model quality, drawings, schedules, and model-based deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
- Monitor team performance, deliverables, and project progress, and proactively address coordination or delivery issues.
- Ensure BIM models and workflows comply with client requirements, project standards, BIM Execution Plans, and established Turner processes.




- Support the development and implementation of BIM coordination workflows, modeling standards, and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify BIM-related risks, constraints, and opportunities for improved project outcomes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, model revisions, coordination records, and issue tracking.
- Support project teams with BIM-related technical queries, constructability reviews, and coordination requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements, standardization, and adoption of BIM best practices across projects.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience in MEP BIM modeling, coordination, and project delivery.
- Solid proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks Manage.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Strong experience in clash detection, multidisciplinary coordination, and BIM workflows.
- Ability to review and interpret engineering/design drawings and BIM models.
- Hands-on experience in managing BIM deliverables, model quality, and coordination processes.
- Strong team leadership, mentoring, and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple deliverables, and meet project deadlines.




- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with global and multidisciplinary project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading MEP BIM teams on large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, infrastructure, data center, university, or advanced technology projects.
- Experience working with international project teams and clients, particularly on projects in the U.S.
- Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and other BIM collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and project-specific BIM Execution Plans.
- Experience with BIM quality control, model auditing, and standards implementation.
- Experience in supporting project planning, resource allocation, and BIM delivery management.
