Position Overview The Purchasing Senior Buyer will support offshore purchasing and procurement administration across sourcing support, procurement intake, PO management, expediting, supplier coordination, reporting, controls, and issue resolution. The role will ensure accurate and timely execution of purchasing activities in line with agreed P2P processes, governance requirements, and SLA expectations.

Shift Timing: From 6:00 AM IST

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement operations, P2P, sourcing administration, supplier coordination, or similar shared-services environments.

Key Scope & Responsibilities
- Sourcing administration, RFx execution support, supplier engagement, commercial coordination, and catalogue management.
- Purchase order creation, validation, amendments, variations, closure, and related issue/query resolution.
- Supplier liaison, stakeholder follow-up, purchasing status updates, project updates, and communication closure.
- P2P compliance, operational reporting, risk tracking, tracker maintenance, query resolution, and SLA/TAT adherence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

* Mandatory:

- 5+ years of experience in purchasing,



procurement operations, sourcing administration, supplier coordination, or P2P processes.
- Solid understanding of procurement intake, PO creation, PO amendments/closure, expediting, controls, and SLA delivery.
- Excellent supplier and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume transactional work with accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- MBA in Supply Chain Preferred.

* Preferred:

- Experience with ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, Coupa, Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to RFx administration, catalogue management, procurement dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Familiarity with Power BI or reporting tools.

Work Environment

- Offshore support for AU purchasing, procurement administration, PO management, supplier coordination, and P2P operations.
- Shift starts from 6:00 AM IST.
- Requires ownership, flexibility, and the ability to work independently in a shared-services environment.
