Talent Partner

Qrata | Remote – United States | Full-Time

Experience: 2–4 Years | Shift: U.S. Business Hours 6pm-3am (EST / CST / PST)

About the Role

At Qrata, we believe hiring should be built on clarity, context, and trusted partnerships—not just résumés. As a Talent Recruiter on our U.S. team, you will go beyond sourcing profiles to become a strategic advisor to both clients and candidates. You’ll capture deep role insights to craft the perfect Role DNA, refine AI-generated scorecards to align with client requirements, and guide candidates through every step of the hiring journey.

This is a fully remote position supporting U.S.-based clients. You will work standard U.S. business hours and collaborate closely with hiring managers, candidates, and internal teams across U.S. time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Role Discovery & Research

- Partner with U.S. hiring managers to understand business goals, team dynamics, and role-specific success metrics.
- Deep-dive into client needs, industry context, and organizational challenges to define what great talent looks like for each role.
- Translate insights into tailored Role DNA profiles and refine AI-generated scorecards to reflect nuanced hiring requirements.

Advisory Screening & Candidate Engagement

- Conduct thoughtful phone and video pre-screens assessing skills, motivations, and cultural fit for U.S.-based roles.
- Score candidates accurately against Role DNA, providing clients with clear, data-backed hiring recommendations.
- Build strong rapport with candidates, guide them through the interview process, align expectations, and support smooth onboarding.

Client Partnership

- Act as a trusted recruiting advisor—simplify hiring decisions, eliminate decision fatigue, and deliver proactive updates.
- Leverage Qrata’s analytics platform to share weekly hiring summaries and market insights that keep clients confident and informed.
- Develop long-term client relationships that drive repeat engagement and referrals.

Hiring Excellence & Execution

- Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, supporting offer negotiations, reference checks, and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and ATS records; meet weekly and monthly hiring SLAs.
- Stay current on U.S. labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruiting best practices.

What We’re Looking For Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus.

- 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience supporting U.S.-based clients or roles (agency, RPO, or in-house).
- Hands-on experience sourcing and engaging U.S.-based candidates in tech, SaaS, or professional services preferred.

Skills & Attributes

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable in strategic conversations with U.S. hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing skills—proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and modern ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Solid business acumen to understand roles, compensation norms, and organizational priorities in the U.S. market.
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy, takes ownership of outcomes, and communicates proactively.

- W-2 (Full-Time Employee) – Understand W-2 employment where the employer withholds federal/state income tax, Social Security, and Medicare (FICA). Know the difference between direct-hire W-2 and W-2 through a staffing agency.

- Corp-to-Corp (C2C) – Understand C2C engagements where a vendor’s corporation invoices the client company directly. Know how to identify legitimate C2C setups vs. misclassification risks.

H-1B, H-4 EAD, OPT/STEM OPT, TN, L-1, E-3, and CPT. Able to screen candidates accurately and communicate sponsorship availability.
- H-1B Sponsorship – Basic understanding of the H-1B cap, lottery process, transfer vs. new filing, and the difference between cap-exempt and cap-subject employers.
- Right-to-Work (RTW) Verification – Knowledge of I-9 compliance requirements and E-Verify processes.

Contract & Engagement Models

- Contract / Contract-to-Hire (C2H) – Understand the structure of contract engagements, conversion clauses, and temp-to-perm arrangements. Able to communicate contract durations, extensions, and conversion timelines to candidates.
- Bill Rate vs. Pay Rate – Ability to calculate and discuss bill rates, pay rates, mark-ups, and gross margins in a staffing context.
- SOW vs. Staff Augmentation – Differentiate between Statement of Work (SOW) engagements and traditional staff augmentation, and understand when each model applies.
