We are looking for a Tableau Developer/Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to support the development and enhancement of business reporting and dashboards. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently in Tableau and have strong hands-on experience with Tableau functions, calculated fields, LOD expressions, and dashboard development. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Build interactive and user-friendly visualizations using Tableau.
- Create and maintain calculated fields, parameters, filters, table calculations, and LOD expressions.
- Work with different data sources and ensure accurate representation of business metrics.
- Perform data validation and troubleshoot discrepancies between source data and Tableau outputs.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Support enhancements and modifications to existing Tableau dashboards.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Tableau solutions.
- Participate in testing and validation of dashboards before deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues and support timely resolution of reporting-related defects.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on Tableau experience.
- Robust understanding of Tableau dashboard development and visualization.
- Comfortable using:
- Tableau calculated fields
- LOD expressions (FIXED, INCLUDE, EXCLUDE) Table calculations Parameters and filters Dashboard actions Data blending/relationships/joins Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of data and reporting concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with business and technical teams.
