Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Job Description

Position: Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Annual Salary Range: ₹4,00,000 - ₹8,00,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on aircraft.

Inspect aircraft systems, components, and equipment for defects or damage.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Carry out maintenance according to approved aircraft maintenance manuals and safety procedures.

Replace faulty aircraft components and parts.

Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.

Assist engineers and senior maintenance staff during major maintenance activities.

Follow aviation safety, quality-control, and regulatory requirements.

Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment for aircraft maintenance.

Required Qualifications

Diploma/ITI/Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

Relevant aircraft maintenance training or certification is preferred.

Knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.





Good troubleshooting and technical skills.

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
