Odia Content Writer / Script Writer

About the Role

We are looking for an Odia Content Writer / Script Writer who can transform provided information, research material, and references into clear, engaging, and well-structured content in Odia.

The candidate should have strong Odia writing skills, good storytelling ability, and an understanding of how to present information for digital and media audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Write and develop Odia stories and scripts based on provided information and reference materials.

Convert raw information, facts, and research into clear and engaging content.

Research topics and verify information before preparing content.

Maintain correct Odia grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and overall flow.

Create content for digital platforms, videos, social media, news, and other media formats.

Develop engaging introductions, structured narratives, and appropriate conclusions.

Coordinate with the editorial or media team to understand content requirements.

Make revisions based on editorial feedback when required.

Ensure content is original, accurate, relevant, and suitable for the intended audience.

Complete assigned content within agreed deadlines.

Required Skills

Strong command of written and spoken Odia.

Valuable storytelling and script-writing skills.





Strong knowledge of Odia grammar and sentence construction.

Ability to understand information and present it in a simple and engaging manner.

Good research and content-analysis skills.

Creativity and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Odia, Literature, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with strong Odia writing and storytelling skills may also apply.

Preferred Experience

0-2+ years of experience in content writing, script writing, journalism, digital media, or a related field.

Freshers with relevant writing and storytelling skills are welcome to apply.

Experience in news writing, digital media, or video scripting is an advantage.

Experience in anchoring or news anchoring is an added advantage.

Familiarity with social media and video content formats is beneficial.
