Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly articulate, confident, and detail-oriented Relationship Manager to manage client onboarding, portfolio verification, and partner bank operations. The ideal candidate will act as the primary bridge between our High-Net-Worth (HNI) / corporate wealth clients and partner banks, handling end-to-end account verification and resolving strict compliance queries to ensure swift account and portfolio activation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bank Liaisoning & RM Coordination: Act as the primary corporate face of Vertex to coordinate directly with Bank Relationship Managers (RMs), Compliance Hubs, and Branch Managers for seamless account verification.

• KYC & AML Compliance Management: Review, validate, and verify complex corporate and individual KYC documentation in strict accordance with RBI guidelines and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.

• Corporate Structure Verification: Expertly manage documentation for diverse business entities, including tracking Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), Shareholding Patterns, Board Resolutions, and PEP statuses.

• Query & Discrepancy Resolution: Confidently address, clarify, and resolve legal, documentation, or operational queries raised by bank compliance desks during the client onboarding stage.

• Turnaround Time (TAT) Optimization:



Proactively track the status of portfolios under verification, manage deferrals, and execute swift follow-ups to minimize rejection rates and accelerate activation.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain active professional rapport with multiple banking partners to establish strong escalation paths for high-priority wealth clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Wealth Management Operations, Bank KYC/AML Compliance Desks, or Premium Client Onboarding.

• Core Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and standard corporate documentation (MOA, AOA, GST, Partnership Deeds).

• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the corporate vocabulary and confidence required to interface effectively with senior bank officials.
