We are looking for an Azure System Administrator to manage and support production Azure infrastructure, with a focus on cloud operations, security, monitoring, automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor Azure VMs, storage, SQL environments, backups, snapshots, and production infrastructure.
- Perform health checks, capacity monitoring, patching, access reviews, and certificate management.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, Key Vault, and Azure security controls.
- Monitor and remediate issues using Azure Monitor and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Handle incidents, service requests, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Support application and database deployments across Production, UAT, and other environments.
- Perform SQL monitoring and optimization, including Query Store, indexing, locks, and database refreshes.
- Automate operational activities using PowerShell and Azure CLI; Terraform knowledge is an advantage.
- Maintain operational documentation, deployment records, and compliance processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and continuous learning.
- Follow information security, business continuity, and production governance processes.





AI & Automation
- Use Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI capabilities, Azure Monitor, Defender for Cloud, Power Platform, and AI tools to improve troubleshooting, monitoring, documentation, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Explore responsible AI-based solutions for incident triage, RCA, log analysis, capacity planning, security remediation, and reporting.

Required Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on Azure administration, preferably supporting production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure VMs, Storage, Resource Groups, Key Vault, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, and identity management.
- Knowledge of Azure networking – VNet, NSG, VPN, DNS, and Private Endpoints.
- Experience in Azure security and Defender for Cloud.
- Solid PowerShell and Azure CLI skills; basic Terraform knowledge preferred.
- Experience with monitoring, patching, backups, certificates, access reviews, incident management, and production support.
- Good understanding of SQL Server monitoring and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and operate within defined SLAs.
